She was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area. Her dad was an active member of the Navy for 32 years which allowed me to live in Norfolk and Virginia Beach while growing up. She graduated from Kempsville HS class of '87. She is married and a mom of two amazing children, Lilly, 17, loves everything that has to do with horses. She has an interest in every discipline of riding and is a natural. Ryan, 15, is a sports expert and very athletic. Everything he wants to do he teaches himself and amazes us. His new passion is golf and is on the Windsor HS Golf team. We have a very sweet 5-year-old English Chocolate Lab, Willow. They also have a horse, Coco a 6-year-old Thoroughbred. As an adult, She has owned homes in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, and currently Windsor.
Even though she has a great love for the beach, she is also a country girl at heart, so being able to experience the best of both worlds is an absolute blessing. Hillary and her husband completed a new home in 2022 on 4.4 acres. She is so lucky to be married to a true country boy and live out our dream of owning land. She absolutely loves the Hampton Roads area because there are so many options for lifestyle and living choices. You can be at the beach and then in the country in 30 minutes. She cannot express how much she appreciates the area they live in, because it offers the perfect balance between city and country life.
When she is not selling homes they, as a family, love to take advantage of the many activities available to them in this area. This includes boating, farm life, and all the parks and outdoor activities our area offers.
She started her business in real estate in 2020. She loves helping her clients find the house that fits them, their family, and their budgets best. The relationships that she gets to form are more important than just making transactions. She enjoys the process of helping her client through this important part of their story. Her life experiences have given me a unique skill set to handle all the challenges that come with buying and selling in Hampton Roads. I have personally bought 6 homes and sold 5 over the last 30 years. Of those 6, 3 of them were new construction.
Through this experience, she has gained a unique insight into the buying and selling process, which she has been able to use to better serve her clients. She has sold 55 properties since she started, that's $14.9 million in real estate sales in 36 months. She has won offers in multiple offer situations on many occasions because of her negotiation skills and communication skills. She is very goal-oriented and a problem solver which makes for the perfect partnership in real estate.
